Mutation details: Mobilization of the transposon from TgTn(sb-SBlac)CFsp transgenic mice with Sleeping Beauty transposase from an unidentified line of TgTn(sb-SBlac)15Fsp transgenic mice results in the integration of the transposon at chr2:73958058-73958059 (GRCm39) in reverse (tel-cen) orientation. This location is in the gene desert between Atp5g3 and Lnp. The transposon consists of a Sleeping Beauty transposon inverted repeat, loxP site, human beta-globin HBB minimal promoter, the lacZ beta-galactosidase reporter gene, SV40 poly(A) signal sequence, and a Sleeping Beauty transposon direct repeat. LacZ expression is detected in the distal limbs and genital bud of E11.5 embryos.
